In the suburban South, an old woman passes away after many long years in her historic home where she lived with her husband and cats. Her house is repossessed by a real estate company.

The property manager, Kylie Kellyson, throws out all the woman’s old furniture with plans to redecorate the house in a more corporate-friendly style.
